   The Webster Theater

   This is my absolute favorite venue. I love going to shows there. It’s located in Hartford, Ct. There’s a main stage, and an Underground section. The Underground is a little stage off in a room to the right of main entrance, it’s extremely small, and the band has to walk through you to set up the stage. We’ve only been there once, it was the first time we saw Quietdrive, with MEST. It’s been awhile.

   The Main stage is much bigger, theres a bar area at the back for people 21 and over, an area behind the sound booth where you can watch, or sit on the side of the wall. If you walk down the stairs, you’re at the back of a rather large floor area. There are signs on the wall that prohibit crowd surfing, and moshing, but it doesn’t stop fans from taking part.

   You can either stand at the back, just out of the crowd, or you can push your way to the front and be near the barrier. If you plan to go in the crowd, watch out around you, I’ve been kicked in the head more than once from a crowd surfer.

   I may not have made it sound like a great place, but it is. I always love every show i see there, and bands seem to love playing there.

   It’s located in a neighborhood, a little creepy walking through at night, but I’ve been there six times, and have never been in a dangerous situation, or even feared of being in a dangerous situation. I’ve never had my car broken into either, which isn’t something you can be sure about in Worcester!

   There’s a parking lot behind The Webster Theater, but parking is $10, I always park on the street, there are no signs banning you from parking on the street, and I’ve never been ticketed or towed.
